A lot of times, it is the case that the MX player plays videos with sound but no audio. Suppose you are experiencing EAC3 Not being supported by MX Player and looking for a solution. In that case, I’ll explain how to repair any audio issue with a video in MX Player by using the Mx Player Custom Codec. 

MX Player is an application for video streaming that is popular. However, it does not support specific audio formats such as EAC3 until you install and download the custom codec that is specifically designed that supports the Audio Format. 

When streaming, Mx Player doesn’t support these audio formats DTS, DTSHD, AC3, EAC3, or MLP. Fix EAC3 Audio Format in MX Player

EAC3 is an acronym for Enhanced Audio Codec 3, an MX Player’s codec that helps create sync between the audio and video. If this codec is not installed, MX Player cannot provide audio to the videos.

Then, follow all my steps, and I’ll guide you through the process of playing the EAC3 Audio that the MX Player does not support. Make MX Player EAC3 Audio not working by installing a Custom Codec.

Step 1: Download EAC3 Custom Codec, MX_AIO.Zip

If you’re experiencing the EAC3 Audio format that’s not supported problem in Mx Player, download MX_AIO.ZIP Custom codec first. I’m offering you a Direct Google Drive Download Link to download and then go to this step.

Step 2: Click on 3 Dots Located on the Top Right

After downloading your Custom Codec, Open Mx Player and play audio, after that, click on the three dots on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 3: Click on More

You will be presented with several options. Click on More. Additional option.

Step 4: Open MX Player Settings

After you click More, You’ll have to select the MX Player options.

Step 5: Click on Decoder

We’re now at MX Player settings. MX Player settings, and you’ll have to select Decoder.

Step 6: Click on Custom Codec

Under the Mx Player Decoder settings, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose Custom Codec.

Step 7: Select mx_aio.zip Custom Codec

Then, choose then the mx_aio.zip custom codec we downloaded in step 1. Locate this Custom codec file, and then select it.

Step: 8 EAC3 Audio, not Support Issue, is Fixed now

After choosing MX_AIO.ZIP as the MX_AIO.ZIP Codec that you have customized, close MX Player App and open it again. After that, start playing EAC3 Audio, Not Supported Video, and the video will play with audio. MX Player Custom Codec will solve the audio issue that is not supported.
